North Allegheny hosted the Trinity Hillers at UPMC Court on the first night of the NA/Wright Automotive Tip-Off Tournament. The Tigers fell behind early and could never recover, ultimately falling 43-27.

It was all Trinity in the first quarter as they jumped out to a 13-2 lead. The Tigers could never get their footing and trailed 16-6 at the end of the opening period. The second quarter was all about defense, as there were only nine points scored in the frame between both teams. NA held the Hillers to four points in the period, but still trailed 20-11 at the half.

Things stayed the same through the third quarter as Trinity led 28-18 going into the final frame. In the fourth quarter, the Tigers were able to cut the deficit to six at 29-23, but Trinity junior Sutton Williamson found her stride, and the Hillers expanded the lead to double digits for good, winning 43-27. Williamson finished with a game-high 17 points.

Vange Balouris led North Allegheny with 12 points. For her efforts, she was named the Wright Automotive Player of the Game.
